WAVIT Welcomes Electrosonic as New Corporate Sponsor

Anaheim, Calif. – October 21, 2026 – Women in AV/IT (WAVIT) announced Electrosonic as its newest corporate sponsor, adding the global audiovisual and technology services company to a growing community of organizations investing in the advancement of women throughout the industry.

For more than 60 years, Electrosonic has helped shape the audiovisual industry, designing, building and supporting innovative technology solutions and experiences around the world. The company’s support of WAVIT reflects a shared commitment to creating an industry where women have greater access to education, professional development, mentorship, leadership opportunities and a strong network of peers and allies.

“Corporate sponsorship is about much more than financial support. It’s a company standing behind our mission and saying that creating opportunities for women in AV and IT matters,” said Brandy Alvarado-Miranda, founder and board member of WAVIT and CEO and founder of BAM! Marketing & PR Agency. “Electrosonic has an incredible history of innovation and leadership in our industry, and we are thrilled to welcome them to the WAVIT community. Their support helps us continue turning our mission into meaningful programs and opportunities for women at every stage of their careers.”

Electrosonic designs, builds and supports innovative audiovisual solutions for commercial and entertainment environments around the world. The company combines architecture, storytelling and technology to create lasting human experiences and has maintained a focus on innovation, learning and collaboration throughout its history.

Sean McChesney, Senior Vice President of Electrosonic added, “We’re excited to join WAVIT and support its mission to create greater opportunities for women across the AV/IT industry. At Electrosonic, we’ve made a deliberate commitment to building a more representative workforce, and today, women make up more than 25% of our team. With women accounting for only 9% of the AV industry and just 2% of technical roles, there is still meaningful work to do. We’re proud to support WAVIT’s focus on education, mentorship and professional development and to help create pathways for more women to build careers, develop their expertise and become the next generation of leaders in our industry,”

WAVIT works to create opportunities for women throughout AV and IT through education, mentorship, networking, professional development and industry advocacy. Corporate sponsorships help fund these initiatives while expanding WAVIT’s ability to connect women with resources, relationships and opportunities that can have a lasting impact on their careers.

“Every new sponsor creates another ripple,” added Alvarado-Miranda. “When industry leaders like Electrosonic invest in WAVIT, they help us expand our reach, strengthen our programs and ultimately create bigger waves of change across AV and IT.”
