Since I’ve officially launched my business, many have asked, “Why BAM?” Well, it signifies a few things… First BAM will be my initials when I get married later this year Brandy Alvarado-Miranda (pandemic permitting), and that’s the main reason I choose BAM. I’ll be marrying my Superman sometime soon. I’ll keep you posted about our wedding and becoming #MirandasWife.
The look and feel of my website and logo reflects my love of superheroes and old comic books. I love all those strong callouts like “BAM” and “POW” found in the comics. I am particularly fond of Wonder Woman. Since becoming the “Fearless Leader” for the AVIXA Women’s Council 2 years ago, I have found that Wonder Woman truly symbolizes what I wanted to stand for as the Chair. Someone fearless, and not afraid to take chances regardless of the obstacles. I feel like over the last few years, I’ve been able to really make women’s voices heard in our industry. I’ve got one final year to move the needle for women in the A/V industry. Wish me luck and help me to continue to spread the word!
And lastly, as my mentor says BAM stands for “Bad A$# Marketer!” (Thank-you Cory!) I’ve held various Director or Marketing and Sales roles for nearly 20 years now, and I can say I’m constantly learning and evolving my skills as a marketer. I’ve had great success in helping companies achieve their goals through my digital marketing and sales initiatives. I’ve helped companies create new logos and reimagine and realign their brands. I’m also recognized as someone that can really help sales and marketing align with CRM, and lead generation tactics. Moreover, I LOVE to write. Always have!
